Still Denim Crazed!

Hello My Pretti’s

The Denim Craze continues! You might remember seeing a preview of this bodysuit in my previous blog “Denim Craze for Days Pt 2”. This bodysuit, aka the Nettie, is from Closet Case Patterns. Head over to the Pattern review website for my review of the Nettie Pattern (link in left sidebar).

Nettie pattern includes a bodysuit which has variations to the sleeve length and back neckline depth and dress, cool right!

I grabbed the Nettie in PDF format, and I will be using it REPEATEDLY, smiles. The PDF cut out and assembled smoothly. The instructions were clear, easy to read and follow.

This bodysuit was rocked with the Cleo dungaree dress from Tilly and the Buttons in my previous blog post.

Fabric used for the Nettie, 2 way poly stretch knit from Joann’s Craft Stores. For future sews of this bodysuit, I will use 4 way stretch spandex for more stretch in all directions.

Bodysuits are a wonderful addition to your wardrobe. They can be dressed up or down. Worn with a skirt, shorts, jumper, pants, and under a blazer, vest, jacket or sweater.

For this posting I have styled Nettie with a really cute self-drafted denim skirt I have made A  LOT.

I can literally make it with my eyes closed. Don’t worry, I will be doing a tutorial for this skirt in the near future. Can’t wait to share how easy this skirt is to make with you, My Pretti’s.

This is a super cute bodysuit, the front neckline is squared. The back neckline can be sewn high, mid or deep plunging , I used the mid, depth.

I love the versatility Nettie brings . It can easily be dressed up or down depending on the fabric, garments and accessories you style it with.

The skirt is pleated in the front for a flat affect. The back was gathered  for booty room, YUP I GOT CUVRES. Oh and I  used 9inch metal fashion zipper in the side for closure.

This combo worked wonderfully for me. I really enjoyed the fact I could sass the look up with sneakers.

I’m excited to share my next make with you as the “Denim Craze” continues. Take care My Pretti’s and remember to keep “Embracing the PrettiModesti in You”.
